Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre Facilities

Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre offers a large superbly surfaced flood lit outdoor equestrian arena which is available for hire by individuals and riding instructors for training and clinics for by event organisers. The flood lit outdoor arena not only offers a top surface on which to ride on but is also flexible in its layout allowing for multiple rings to be running consecutively.

We Can provide a full set of competition standard BS show jumps, a training set of jumps, working hunter rustic jumps and portable x-country . For British dressage events we run 2 arenas of 20 x 60m with judges boxes plus a good sized warm up.

Our log cabin, This building provides a good space for competitors to sit and relax , chat and for organisers somewhere spacious to run events out of. There is a spacious Commentary box, a well serviced toilet block for Males, females and accessible toilets plus 2 showers.

Day stabling or over night stables are available on request.

Outdoor All-weather Flood Lit Arena

Our purpose built arena has a Martin Collins Clopf fibre & sand mix surface ensuring the very best of riding surfaces.

Catering

Hot Nosh provide all the hot and cold food and refreshments. Sally and Tony are outside caterers. Hot nosh are available and open at all of our own shows. They will open for all outside bookings if requested. They have a 5 star Health and hygiene and food standard rating. Fully insured, risk assessments and all required certificates. Great food too. CASH ONLY

There is a pedestrian only seating area with plenty of picnic benches which over looks the arena and near car park.

Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre Venue Hire

Packages can be tailor made to suit your needs to include usage of the lodge, PA systems and timing equipment. Lighting by the winter months All riders need to be covered by a third party insurance. (For example) be covered by or under a club insurance ie BRC, pony club, BE, BD or BS or have their own private cover for example BHS gold membership or similar.

Extras

We can source BS course builders, catering, medical cover, marquees, Judges, Instructors. Please ask if you need anyone or anything.
Use of timing equipment and public address systems will come as an extra.
Additional sets of show jumps will be at additional cost POA
Jon Warman BS Level 3 course builder £180 per day

We have a small selection of portable cross country fences available these can be secured out in the field(summer months) or in the arena.

Please ask for a separate quote. for use of the field.

How To Hire Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre

All parties/ Individuals Booking KSEC must hold current, valid and appropriate 3rd party insurance or be covered by an organisations public liability insurance. Thank you.

£20 per horse/pony per rider

Clear Arena Suitable for Dressage or Schooling etc

Competition or Group Hire

*A Sunday booking will only be taken for a whole day hire unless previously agreed.*

Use of whole 60x90m arena.

Arena x country competition package £850 (8 hour day, extra hours £75 per hour)
British Show jumping standard jumps competition package £800 (8 hour day, extra hours £70 per hour)
Working Hunter competition package £750 (8 hour day, extra hours £70 per hour)
Dressage Package £750 (8 hour day, extra hours £60 per hour)
Lessons and training are done on a individual horse price. Pony clubs, Riding clubs and regular instructors to KSEC price on application.
